Rep. Gila Garcia of the 3rd Congressional District of Bataan is overjoyed with the recent achievements of all 12 local government units (LGUs) in the Province, having passed the 2024 Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA) earning the coveted Seal of Child-Friendly Local Governance (SCFLG).

This historic milestone marks the first time all LGUs in the province have simultaneously achieved the distinction, demonstrating Bataan’s unwavering commitment to creating a nurturing environment for its children.

The people of Bataan have always prioritized the welfare of our children and this achievement is a testament to our collective efforts said Gov. Joet Garcia, “we will work tirelessly to ensure our children’s rights are protected and their futures are bright”.

The CFLGA conducted by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) assesses LGU’s performance in implementing Child-Friendly programs and services if they excelled in providing safety, development, protection and participation opportunities for children.
